Job Summary:

The Digital Print Production Specialist is responsible for operating, maintaining, and optimizing digital printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials that meet customer specifications and deadlines. This role requires strong attention to detail, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple print jobs in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor digital print equipment (e.g., large-format and small-format printers).
Prepare, review, and process print files to ensure accuracy, color consistency, and quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on digital printing equipment.
Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality and efficiency.
Conduct quality checks throughout the print process and make necessary adjustments.
Collaborate with design, production, and fulfillment teams to ensure project requirements are met.
Manage materials, including paper stock, inks, and finishing supplies.
Follow safety procedures and maintain an organized, clean production workspace.
Document production data and report issues or improvements as needed.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree in Graphic Arts, Printing, or related field preferred).
2+ years of experience in digital print production or a similar role.
Hands-on experience with digital printing equipment and RIP software.
Strong understanding of color management, file formats, and print workflows.
Ability to lift production materials and stand for extended periods.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Attention to detail with a commitment to quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with large-format or industrial digital printers
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Familiarity with finishing processes such as cutting, binding, lamination, or mounting
