About the Job
6 months of Delivery experience.
The Delivery Driver Trainee will receive training to be able to achieve efficient and quality pick up, relocation, delivery, installation and networking of office equipment in a safe manner. The Trainee will be responsible for successful completion of the Delivery Driver Trainee program including proficiency in equipment, technology, productivity and safety standards, including but not limited to:
- Completion of assigned Pro Tread Courses.
- Meet driving standards including successful completion of Smith System Training, road test and safety compliance (i.e. hard brakes, accidents, driving violations, etc.).
- Display proficiency in phone usage (mobilelink, FMHH, DOT logs, Toner App, GPS).
- Display excellent customer interaction skills (pre-call, training on new device, networking, internal/external customers.
- Accurately complete pre/post trip inspections.
- Successful completion of driver install program/training.
- Loading and strapping proficiency.
- Safety program involvement.
- Proficiency in use of delivery equipment (i.e. stairclimber, dolly, pallet jack, etc.).
